Utah Judo Class June 20th: Fighting through the pain

I had not planned to go to class last night due to my rib.  But my wife knows how much I love Judo (and has become much more liberal since I filled out those life insurance forms), so she convinced me to go.  I am really glad I did.

There was a new student who actually recognized me due to my rib pain, and said, “you’re the guy with the web site.”  Funny :).  Welcome to the class.  I guess he is an old student of Dr. Chen.

I worked wit hima  bit, and then did some randori.  I knew it was a bad idea.  It hurt like holy hell, and I screamed pretty good at one point.  But I enjoyed every second of it,a dn feel awesome today (well, other than intense pain.)

I worked with Jerry, who really pushes the envolope.  It’s great to randori with him.

Can’t wait until next time… though I may have to restrain myself from randori or I might never actually heal.
