A bit on Utah Judo Classes

Okay, so first a quick update on my foot:  I’m seeig the doctor today to see if it has healed or not.  I am really crossing my fingers, because if not it is going to need a screw in it.

But on to more exciting stuff:  I think I have a plan for the ultimate Judo training schedule for Utah.  That’s trademarked by the way, so back off! :)

Anyway, here’s the plan:  Tuesday’s and Thursdays from 6:00-7:00 with Mike at Hidden Valley Judo.  Mike Is a great trainer (and one of the nicest guys ever to work with), and really really good at Judo.  Then, 7:45-9:15 at Lehi Judo athi Aaron.  I haven’t actually trained with Aaron yet, but he seems to have a good sized class with really great energy (plus, the Jiujitsu guy (Randy) at Aaron’s class was showing some pretty cool non-Judo stuff), and after watching it it sure seems like The two classes each have a different enough flavor that doing them both as a big Judo Casserole is my plan.  Saturdays I’ll probably rotate between the two, but I also really want to try to hit Akbar’s class down on 1300 west and 7800 south (anyone have the exact address?) as well.  Either Lehi or Hidden Valley are over by aout 11:00 on saturday, so that should give enough time to head over to Akbar’s for a real beating.  I don’t know how often my schedule (or my wife’s tolerance) will let me do both on saturday, but for now this is my plan.

But first the doctor.  Wish me well at the appointment today :)
